It contains useful controls that allow the user sort the report by each column, enable and disable pre-configured filters, generate Crystal Report documents, and view summary charts. ----------------- Configuration ----------------- The AlarmWorX32 Viewer Wizard is already configured to be used with the Alarm Viewer that is generated when you run the wizard. The only requirement is that you connect the Alarm Report ActiveX to the desired database. To do this, simply double click on the Alarm Report ActiveX in Configuration mode, go to the General tab, and change the Connection Parameters to point to the database to which you wish to connect. -------------------- Runtime -------------------- During Runtime Mode the AlarmWorX32 Viewer Wizard offers a broad range of utilities: 1) Record Filtering - You may choose to Activate or Deactivate pre-configured filters by using the navigation controls provided in the Filter Management panel 2) Record Sorting - You may sort any column in ascending or descending order by using the Sort Management panel. 3) Crystal Reports - The buttons: "Condensed Alarm Report", "Detailed Alarm Report", "Alarm Report 3", "Alarm Report 4", and "Alarm Report 5", can be used to display pre-configured Crystal Report documents based upon your database. The last 3 reports are not configured by default, but can be easily configured in the "Reporting" tab of the AlarmWorX32 Report ActiveX properties. 4) Alarm Grids and Charts - The AlarmWorX32 Report ActiveX provides you with the option of viewing your records as a detailed grid, summary grid, summary bar chart, or summary pie chart. This wizard makes it easy to switch between these modes. 5) Table Navigation - The "Next Table" and "Previous Table" buttons make it easy to navigate through a table and all of the associated archive tables. 6) Printing - the "Print" button makes it easy to print out the current view in the Report ActiveX. 7) Toolbar - Press the toolbar button to show or hide the Report ActiveX toolbar. 8) Connect - Press this button to connect the ActiveX to the configured database.
