Vince Lombardi's Green Bay Packers dominated American pro football for almost ten years. They won five NFL championships and two Superbowl victories. Lombardi's signature play was the Power Sweep and Green Bay used it over and over.

The team did not seem special before Lombardi's arrival-- they had been losing for years. Lombardi himself said "There's nothing special about the power sweep." Yet, there must have been something very special about the play, the team, the strategy, the leadership or all the above.
